I am very thankful and excited that you are visiting my website.  I received a Masters in Elementary Education with an emphasis on curriculum and instruction integrated STEAM. Also, I hold a clear multiple-subject credential. Currently, I work as a 6th-grade math teacher at Sutter Middle School.

My education and prior work experience allowed me to develop my skills as an educator who leads the way in technology and 21-century practices. Through my use of well-developed lessons (related to real-world problems and events) and classroom management techniques, it is possible to help students develop a conceptual understanding of academic concepts. In addition, I learned how to engage in reflective practice, collaboration, and research to help students meet and surpass the common core standards. 

Furthermore, I can pick up the pieces of setbacks and continue toward the goal of encouraging students to achieve their full abilities. All these acquired skills have made it possible for me to have a successful career in the education field - a world for which I have always pursued.
